History;
Alice Jennifer Logan was born on 30th April to her parents. Jonas Logan was an Auror while Charlotte was a Healer. Those two met when Jonas was admitted to Saint Mungo’s after a particularly trying day at work. Having fainted into Charlotte’s arms while walking into the room, Jonas never lived that down from his future wife to be. They both had just ended relationships and so weren’t exactly in the right frame of mind to enter another one straightaway. Their courtship became serious when Charlotte agreed to move in with Jonas after months of dating. Exactly two years after they met, they got married. Alice’s parents were already well established in their respective careers and thus decided that they should have a child. After trying for years, they had just about given up hope of ever having a child.
Alice was indeed very welcome to the family. She was an only child and got just about everything she wished for. Her family was pure in blood but they never had any opinion about the whole blood purity thing going on. The young girl was mischievous whenever she saw people she didn’t know appear in the house. She wouldn’t sit when she was told to, she wouldn’t keep quiet and kept asking questions when she was asked to remain silent. Alice however, always knew when an adult was about to flare up. When they were close to shouting at her, she would do whatever she was told to and became this sweet innocent angel. From young, Alice had been surrounded by magic and she knew she would one day be going to Hogwarts.
Alice’s parents weren’t exactly loaded like the other pureblooded families. But they had enough. Alice ended up with her grandmother most of the time due to her parents working hours. However, she looked forward to the nights and weekends. Her mother would be home and her father occasionally would be too. Some days she would spend every waking hour she had with her father. Days would pass and she would not see her father at all. But Alice knew his nature of work, as explained to her by her grandmother. On rare occasions when she had both her parents with her, Alice always bugged them to go out with her into the forest behind their cottage.
Her childhood passed by otherwise uneventful. Whenever the adults had time, they taught her magic. They showed her what they could do and told her that one day she would be able to do all of it too. When Alice was ten, she started reading up on her parents’ old textbooks. She wasn’t able to do anything since she didn’t have a wand but she enjoyed reading the books and looking at the picture. Alice was the kind you would find running around Diagon Alley and not caring about what people thought of her. Not that she hadn’t been there, but she was just overly thrilled. The only thing she disliked was leaving her family. They had been there for her for so many years.
But she got used to the change and once in the magic school, Alice did her best to fit in. And fit in she did. The young girl got sorted into Hufflepuff. The years passed by quickly. Too quickly and they were possibly the best of her life. Friends, enemies, lovers, you name them she made them. Also, Alice showed great promise as a student. She wasn’t the best in her class, but she did well enough. Now starting her sixth year in Hogwarts, how will it go?

Overall Personality;
Alice is a self-reliant female. Her judgements are often based on her own instincts and events that have led her to that conclusion. She isn’t an impulsive person. Most major things she does undergo some form of thinking and planning. That said and done, Alice does succumb to peer pressure once in a while. It usually happens when she’s unsure about something and the friend wants an answer straight away. Alice likes stability. She isn’t accustomed to change, especially not a change that has happened too quickly. Because of this, Alice doesn’t like last minute changes. She absolutely detests knowing something that will affect her at the last minute. Like having someone decide not to come to a gathering when Alice was looking forward to the whole thing. She doesn’t like having her hopes dashed and if she feels jaded, Alice stops hoping. Depending on the situation, Alice would tell off the person or pretend that she was okay with what had happened.
Alice is a very calm person. It is rare for her to lose her composure and display anger and aggression. Anger is something Alice doesn’t like to face. It scares her. An angry Alice is certainly someone to face. Unlike some people who prefer to use verbal insults, Alice would much rather use physical force. Or throw some curses. Or run away depending how who the person is. When she is angry with someone she deeply cares for, she would rather leave than say things she knows she would regret later. What scares her about her temper is the intensity of her feelings. She tends to shut down for some time after losing her temper. She isn’t one to share openly and honestly about her feelings. Many people do not know how she really feels inside because she doesn’t let them in.
There might be some who accuse Alice of being too stubborn. In a way, that is true. Alice often sticks to her opinion. But that stubbornness leads to two of Alice’s defining qualities. She is a faithful and loyal person. When you are her friend, she commits herself entirely to the friendship. The few close friends she has are always treasured. If she believes in something, she is steadfast in her alliances and will remain so through thick and thin. She doesn’t like betrayal nor people pretending to be someone they are not. Alice gives her all in friendships and she expects her friend to do the same.
Alice isn’t the type for frivolous relationships. She takes relationships very seriously. And when she does enter a relationship, she expects nothing less than commitment. She doesn’t like to play emotional games. She doesn’t want emotional games in her relationship. This is because it often leads to one of her worst faults. Jealously. . True, everyone gets jealous but Alice just shows it as it is in a very direct and obvious manner. She doesn’t know how to handle it. She handles it badly. Often she just goes up to her partner and asks him directly what he was doing. Of all the emotions she can hide, jealously is one that she can’t. Even if she denies being jealous, her cutting remarks ensure the other party that she is indeed resentful. She also tends to be quite possessive of her companion. She doesn’t need to know where he is at every second of the day, but she likes to at least have a hint of what he was doing. Alice wants to know that she is a part of his life and would very much like him to show her that.
Alice is patient and a listener. She seldom grows impatient unless a certain event has occurred too many times beyond her limit. Alice likes to listen. It makes her feel important in a way because someone has actually sought her out to talk to her. It also makes her feel good about herself. She dislikes being controlled. She sees it as a way of binding her freedom to do what she likes to do. Alice believes that when she wants to do something, she will do it and she doesn’t need anyone else to tell her when and/or how she should do it. Due to this, she has always had a problem with authority figures. She doesn’t know how she feels about them. Sometimes she likes and respects them. Other times she absolutely can’t wait to get them out of her sight.
Alice is rather sensitive. Any comment or remark can be taken negatively and she will get easily offended or hurt. But she hides it well. That is a fault. She is always hiding her true feelings in order not to hurt other people even if they do not deserve her kindness. She doesn’t know why she does it but it has been in her nature since young. She sees it as a way of preventing herself from getting hurt. If no one knows the real her, then no one can hurt her. Alice is aware that she is intelligent. However, she tends to play it down. In fact, it was something she did very often during her early years at Hogwarts. But she has learnt that people see her differently when she attempts to be modest. So gradually she has just learnt to say thank you whenever she gets praised for her work. Alice doesn’t like competition. She doesn’t willingly take part in any of it. She doesn’t like the comparison. She knows it’s a daily part of life, being compared to someone but she dislikes being compared to anyone.

Rp sample;
Alice Logan had been walking up and down the castle of Hogwarts for quite some time now. If she met anyone she knew, she just gave them a brief smile and continued walking. She might even have passed by several people more than once. One would just think that she was in a hurry to get somewhere. But for this, there was nowhere Alice could escape to. Unless she could banish the thought that was foremost in her head to the darkest corner of her mind and not think about it, Alice Logan wasn’t going to stop walking anytime soon.
She knew there was a war. She knew that there would be casualties. She worried sick about her father and the job he held, knowing that any moment he could be the next one that fell lifelessly down after being hit by the green flash of light. But not her mother. Never her mother. Charlotte Logan had done enough worrying about her husband. But perhaps not for herself. For she was now dead. Murdered by a Death Eater while protecting Muggles.
There were no details in the letter her father wrote to her. Only the bare facts. And Alice was sure that she wouldn’t get any reply even if she replied to this letter. She knew what her father was doing right now. He was going to find that person who murdered his beloved wife and perhaps kill the Death Eater himself. The brunette knew that was what she would have done. She knew her father well. He was extremely protective of his family. Alice loved him for that. But what if he himself got hurt in the process? The Hufflepuff didn’t wish to think of anything other than that option. She couldn’t bring herself to.
Seeing an open door, Alice slipped into the classroom. Taking a brief look around, she saw that it was empty. She shut the door. If Alice had been in a clearer state of mind, she might have remembered to lock it. But she did not. The brunette slumped down on one of the chairs and stared blankly forward.
